  Cognos is a software package that has sophisticated reporting capabilities. The name is not an acronym. Click here for an overview of Cognos lookup tools and reports.
  Cognos CUBE

 

One format of Cognos reports is known as a CUBE. USOE has created cubes of data that include all districts and all schools. This data does not go down to the teacher or student level. Click here for documentation that explains how to manipulate a CUBE style report with Cognos.

This webpage includes examples of reports developed by the Cognos User Group. I can generate any report that uses the "standard model" once I have your data loaded on my computer.

Click on the "Report List" option to see a screenshot of the different available reports. You do not need to have a login for this option. You can either search by various criteria or just take all the defaults.
