Charters use a variety of SIS software. The majority use the USOE SIS2000+ software; the others use PowerSchool, RenWeb, and Compass.
SIS2000+ consists of:
- FoxPro
software that is accessible
from a remote terminal
server. The system administrator
and a limited number of
school personnel have
access to this software.
It is used for enrollment,
scheduling, food services,
behavior, and other miscellaneous
modules.
USOE
manages
our
Foxpro
applications
for
us,
whereas
stand-alone
districts
must
do
this
themselves.
- WebSIS software that is accessible by students, parents, faculty, and other school personnel. It is used primarily for accessing attendance and grades.
Process for exporting Student Directory information for import into Excel. Once it is in Excel, you can sort, filter, manipulate the data for a variety of uses. For example, you can create email distribution lists.
There are approximately 12 FoxPro reports that can be exported to a file. Here is a list.
I recommend printing these documents out and compiling a large notebook for reference.

- Training Documents - Original documents with exercises to explain modules. Although not updated, about 90% of the information is still accurate and worth reading.
